The Ralph S. Alberts Co., Inc. is a resourceful,
multifaceted plastic job shop manufacturing tooling, molds and
parts. Housed in a facility of 50,000 square feet, our departments
and capabilities include injection molding, foam molding, hand
casting, liquid resin casting, rigid/high-density flexible foam
molding, roto casting & thermal plastic rubber casting.
Working with ideas, drawings, CAD files or samples, we provide
versatility in our approach to design custom molded parts for
prototyping and short run production. Our tooling is constructed
out of epoxies, urethane, silicone or high speed machined aluminum.
Established in 1963, our first customers were Piper Aircraft and
Gentex Corporation. Products included tooling and fixtures for
aircraft and tank helmets used by the armed services. In 1967,
a corporation was formed. RCA became a major customer as we supplied
non-metallic fixtures and pallets for conveyor lines. In 1978,
a new aspect of the operation developed with the manufacture of
replacement foam parts for amusement rides. We have developed
and trade marked a ride padding system, Ryde Hyde X 3™.
We service parks and ride manufacturers throughout the United
States and Europe. Today we are deeply involved in the medical
simulation industry.
We are especially proud of our state-of-the-art processes developed
by our injection-molding department. Using both cast epoxy composite,
refined through SLA’s and LOM’s, and high speed machined
aluminum tools, mold prototypes and low volume production parts.
A wide variety of industries such as computer and office equipment,
O.E.M. manufacturing, electronics, robotics, research, national
defense, and medical hardware have saved time and money in development
of new products and short run needs.
Our experience with custom molding, cost-efficiency, versatility,
responsiveness, accuracy and long term durability has enabled
us to mold our niche in the plastics industry as a premier multifaceted
company.
