Armor Holdings Products Division is at the forefront of manufacturing security products exclusively for law enforcement, corrections officers, military and licensed security professionals. The engineers at Armor Holdings Products Division approached R.S. Alberts with a challenging situation. They needed a gunstock that would be able to withstand normal use plus, in an emergency, be able to knock down a door or other obstacle. After some discussion and material testing, it was determined that the stocks would be made from a urethane using the Liquid Resin Casting system and that the recoil pads were to be made from a thermoplastic elastomer using the Epoxy Tooled Injection Molding system. The Thermoplastic elastomer recoil pad was reinforced by insert molding a steel plate. Two different styles of the stocks have been made as well as handgrips.
