Hand Casting
| The Hand Cast
department at RS Alberts molds a variety of different
urethanes and silicones for prototyping, short run and
production applications. A wide range of durometers
(hardness) are available for your special needs. The use of
silicone tooling can provide an exact reproduction of highly
detailed models. We also use urethane tools, which provide
long tool life for repeated use and long production runs.

The use
of our hand cast operation can save you time and money on
prototyping your projects before going to a hard tooling
system. The experienced staff in this department has
produced a wide variety of housings, fixtures, rollers,
bumpers and an endless amount of one of a kind products that
have overwhelmingly satisfied our customers. Custom color
matching can be used in most of our urethane systems at an
additional charge or we can provide stock colors at no extra
charge. |
