The Raymond Corporation is the leading North American provider of materials handling solutions that improve space utilization and productivity, with lower cost of operation and greater operator acceptance. Because of some of the low volume of lift trucks that Raymond produces for specific situations, the relationship between the Raymond Corporation and the Ralph S. Alberts Company has become an important one. The Raymond Corporation has been able to take advantage of several of the different molding processes within the Alberts Company to get custom molded parts. The Epoxy Tooled Injection Molding process is used to produce overlay thermoplastic elastomer grips for heated hand controls and polypropylene for enclosures for electrical components. The Hand Cast process is used to mold urethane floor pads and the Flexible and High Density Urethane Foam process produces foam pads as well as an over-molded foam grip.
